  • Lines of Three and Me

    Lines  of  Three  and  Me

Pride is legion, so I’m told

It has Beauty, Heart and Soul

But raging rampant, turns us cold

    Around the “I” in me-perverse

    Revolves the entire universe

    An oscillating blessing-curse

Without the “I” in me, I’m nothing

    Though macho tendencies be bluffing

Fears of that, I’m always stuffing

Rene’ and Neil both cried, “I AM”

And though I do not understand

It feels so good, who gives a damn?

    Pray pause; consider Vanity

    Narcissus rocks our sanity

You must improve your view of Me

And I deserve it!  Yes I do!

Have not I always thought of You?

My flailing ego needs You, too

    Consider “Faith” - now there’s a morpheme

    Though Logically, it’s quite absurdem

But Miracles, I guess it works them

Break the meter; change the rhyme

Sustain the struggle; keep on Trying

For new perspectives, one more time

I do not know what makes me tick

Sometimes I make me awful sick

But Pride tells me it’s just a trick

Now if these thoughts don’t comfort thee

And think the Muse not prompteth me

You write some verse in lines of three

    Karma Love

The Mystic Minionette sang sweetly, softly, to her swain
Tender threads of love were weaving wonders in his brain

Fleecy clouds of beauty shinning brightly in the sun
Obscuring reason in the fog; cocoon of love was spun

Every force exerted in the working of our world
Effects the forcer just as well;  two edges of the sword

Black and White,  yin and Yang,  North and South are Polar
No effect without a cause,  the cause redundant over

Magic working overtime, cannot escape the spell
Threads of love bind binder in the heaven or the hell

Enraptured lover will respond,  in kind, with great emotion
The seeker and the sought can thrive of drown in love's devotion

    The moral of the minion's song, if once you clear the hurtle;
The Karma Wheel spins fuzzy web, but always comes full circle

  • In
dyer's poem of "the Fleese" there is an account of the ship "Argo" and her crew, which gives a good picture of her crew.

From every region of Aegea's  shore; The brave assembled;  Those illustrious twins, Castor and Polux,Orpheous tune bard,
zetes and Calais, as the wind speed; strong Hercules and many a chief renowned. On deep Iocus' sandy shore they th'ronged,
gleaming in all armor, ardent of exploit; and soon, the luarel cord and the huge stone, unlifting to the deck, unmoored the bark ; whose keel of wondrous length the skillfull hand of the
argus, for the proud attempt;  And in the keel, a lofty mast upraised and sails full sweeling ' to he chiefs. Unwanted objects. Now first, now they learned, Their steerage over ocean waves led by chirons art, had the sphere celestial, &c.   Hercules left the expedition at Mynia, for Hylath, a youth beloved by him, having gone for water, was laid of hold by him.     p 158 of Greece and Rome

grey  I was sure there was a Zetes somewhere. (grin)
