  • The Summoning

Swallows go to Capistrano, Orcas go to Puget Sound

I'm still searching for my TrueLove

and magic is alive the whole world-round

do you feel it?  do you hear it?

                             HARK!

                  "The Summoning"

Gypsybird,  Gypsybird,  What’s  that  you’re  singing?

With eyes so wide open, you’re laughing and dancing

and crying  out words that you throw from your heart

The campfire is lighting your circlet of silver

on hair flying out and a vision’s delivered

an otherworld seeming of place and of time

Behind you there’s music with tambourine ringing

A flute that is hauntingly, playfully calling

For rapturous joining with Echos and Pan

You sing in a language that’s new to these lovers

But singing and dancing are known the world over

and rapture will capture & hearts understand

Your song sounds a summons, a searching through time

For a lost demon lover in a dreaming sublime

I think you need allies to capture a ghost

We all will meet with you  on Stormy Point Coast

Your friends be there with you to welcome the summons,

But fearing - there’s fearing, so take you some care.

Hey, Gypsy, Where are you? We are calling again

You can't be forgotten, for you come from within

'cause you are the Center, the Source and the Focus

Our auspicious anomoly and Primary Locus

You must not be selfish and too introspective

Your spirit is needed to fill our directive

Your story is forming and shaping and becoming

It's time for your magic in the arcane summoning

             In the San Juan Islands, there are two big Islands;

San Juan and Orcas, well-named after the

Killer Whales that hang out here so much.

The "Summoning of the Orcas" - San Juan Islands, Puget Sound

San Juan Island, Washington, US - June, 2003.

The Orcas, Killer Whales playing- mating, I believe.

They sure were busy.  The Coast Guard is chasing off tourists

My son Jon Dylan C. lives here in Friday Harbor

Wish I'd have had a telephoto. That little splash in the middle way out there in an Orcas Jumping.

Cruising between the San Juans on the ferry in Puget Sound

Dylan  holds up a Madrona Tree with is head.  wow.

...Facing W.S.W. toward the Olympic Peninsula across the Strait of Juan de Fuca, one of my favorite places.

    Looks OK to me.

  • Me - Gypsy Butterfly!

  • Hey, Rez;
I wrote a long? reply right here in this very spot last night(this morning) and I can not find it! AAHHGG! (or any other expression displaying great frustration without naughty words) I don't remember what I said, but I'm sure it said, "thanks" and [["yes, that's you, alright,"]] and then I went on to adlib about "The Summoning" like summonings of nature, and the San Juan islands and it's ORCAS which are gathering right NOW AS WE SPEAK for their yearly orgy, which they really seem to enjoy, (chuckle)and I'm naturally jealous... I mean ... oh, well. I visited PURE_ROUGH_DIAMOND 's site and the Family posting. Wow. I feel like I know the whole family. She did a great job.
Your sister, yes? Have you ever had repeating dreams? over long periods of time? Now I'm nodding off again because it is 4:14 AM. Why do I do this? We had our blue grass jam session, every Monday night; it's fun. g'nite WAIT!!! I want to say that your picture there is very nice; lovely dress, too. grey (this picture is of my mother and I when I was visiting her last month. she is 87 and her race is about over. An incredible woman. I'll really miss her)

  • interesting, grey salted-one. i used to live in bellingham. drove a forklift for georgia-pacific, i'm afraid to say. but it earned me the money to get to san fran ; )

I also drove a forklift, of differing sizes. San Fan. Oh. So I have wondered, as surely you must know; where you achieved your class and style and wonderment to grow. I dared not ask. I rather like a mystery to grow.
    (grin)
The Summoning? Only natures calling, With just a touch of magic. Though I be a skeptic of nearly all, there's magic in our world, or it be not a world at all. (for me, at least)

  • @saltypepper1357 -

there you are, grey-one; i am about to head to the tree-nest, but managed to stay awake long enough to see thee ; ) i had heard that a virgo male might be a Little skeptical. thank the goddess, not cynical, though.
twas studying thy cards today (i notice but need to go back to confirm that the hermit card didn't appear. odd that the one reading the cards didn't appear in the spread, don't you think?)
'tis a long, strange story re how i came to be here in this form. some, i think, thee has seen on my blog. (how far back did thee go?)
